Google Maps Reviews | Content that people want to know



Leads preferred to read reviews before making decisions. Reviews are not generated by robots. They are actual experiences that are written and shared by people who have visited those places. 

Content marketing is changing from website to actually experienced reviews. What you are saying about your products or services is important if experience reviews are positive and spreading virally. 

People who are searching on Google Maps want to want what others are talking about in those places. Then they make decisions about those places.  We always visit many places for many purposes. People want to know about those places on Google Maps.

Let us see two sample examples

Hotel booking, Restaurant
Travelers, visitors, food lovers searching for best hotels for the stay or enjoy food nearby them or before planning their tour on Google Maps for brake-fast, lunch or dinner with family or friends. Reviews make them make decisions about services, quality and more information about those hotels/restaurants during their customer journey. As they get positive detail reviews on Google Maps its helps for better decision making.

Historical places
People are now reading reviews on Google Maps about historical places before planning to visit. Is the hotel is available, how to reach there? Details about what they going to watch in these places. Is road is in good condition, can they have a parking facility and more information. Google Maps reviews make it easy and simple to learn more about historical places.

Myself passionate about contributing Google Maps for a few years. As a Google Local guide me at 7th level with 11,331 points, completed
1) Reach: Review 100 places (260/100)
2) Write 50 reviews with over 200 characters
3) Get more than 150 likes on my reviews

With this completion, I got Master Reviewer Badge from Google Maps.

When I started to write reviews on Google Maps after a few months, I realized that reviews have views, likes and comment too. This encourages me to write reviews. I started to share my experiences whether Good or BAD about the place I’m visiting in detail. Writes 260 reviews with 100 ratings, 157 like and 42,293 views till January 2020.
