This sign is # (a pound sign) or called as HASHTAG.

Trending tag on Social Media may be Hashtag pound sign #. There only two tags @ and # tags (special characters) used over social media. Using # HasTag helps to search with a particular topic. Users able to reach posts, contents related to # Tag. # Tags are useful for creating track company efforts on specific topics or specific campaigns.
